Damien Tanner and Max Williams

New Bamboo was founded in Brighton at the end of 2005. Prior to this, they had both been working independently as developers in a variety of programming languages. However, the advent of the Rails framework was too enticing an opportunity to miss, and they therefore joined forces to create a company solely devoted to it.

Three years on, they have moved up to London and gathered a fantastic team of like-minded individuals around them. They are both still passionate about the technology, especially combined with the power of Agile - which the company has wholeheartedly embraced over the past year.

They generally spend their time overseeing client projects, and the direction of the company. However, they still love to get their hands dirty from time to time, especially where their own beloved pet-projects are concerned.

Their overall approach with the company has been to create the best team of Rails developers in the UK, and work with an interesting array of clients. They feel they are doing pretty well on this front.
